IMPORTANT
NOTICE TO ALL INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
Make sure you understand and
follow these new rules or your visa can be cancelled.
- If you change
your address, you are required to notify
your school/institution within seven days. There
are no excuses, and no exceptions. So, if you move, YOU
MUST TELL THE SCHOOL IMMEDIATELY.
- Student
under 18 must live in accommodation that is approved BY
THE
SCHOOL. Generally, this will mean that students under 18
must live in a homestay, a supervised hostel approved by
the school, or with the family of a relative.
(STUDENT UNDER 18 MAY NOT LIVE IN APARTMENTS
WITH A GROUP OF FRIENDS, EVEN IF ONE OF THE FRIENDS IS
OVER 18.
- Student must
attend at least 80% of the course contact hours EACH
TERM. THIS MEANS THAT YOU CANNOT AFFORD TO MISS
CLASSES. Any student who has less then 80% attendance, in
any term, can have his/her visa cancelled.
- Any student
who breaks the rules regarding work rights will have
his/her visa cancelled automaticlly.
- Here is the
meaning of some of the common student visa categories.
